    I am a self-taught artist. The thought of painting on canvas, drawing on paper, wood or metal, has not motivated me as much as using another unique media in new ways. I love the old statues and lost art.
    In 2012, I decided to make concrete countertops for our home. I began this venture by learning techniques and conventional recipes and practiced be making small, cement art projects.
    I quickly adapted and altered recipes to make my projects lighter.  I continued to experiment, realizing that I could create fine art in cement, by blending imagination, color stains, cement, and other earth materials into works of art.
    I have not made any counter tops yet, but perhaps one day I will. For now, I will keep finding new ways of utilizing my artistic skills with cement metal smithing, glass carving and other mediums.
    My biggest thank you, is to all who have supported and encouraged me. I am continuing to pursue my career in art and now enjoy looking forward to teaching classes in cement schulpture, and teaching youth art.
